Gianluca D’Agostino is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Neomobile Group.

15 years of experience in the Telco industry and the Mobile Entertainment Market have helped Gianluca to build a strong international company which has become one of the global leaders in the mobile entertainment industry. Operating in a market worth €50bln globally in 2009 and forecasted to grow up to €65bln by 2011, the Company has offices  throughout the Mediterranean region, Asia and Latin America and can count on 200 young and skilled professionals. Today Neomobile is among the most recognized and competitive players in the fastest growing segment of the market known as D2C (direct to consumer).

Neomobile was born after the spin-off of the Teleunit’s Mobile Content division, a project carried out by Fusion Mobile Value, a consulting firm founded by Gianluca in 2003, specialized in the development of value creation programs for key Mobile Content Services players (customers included Lucent Technologies, CNIPA and Wind).

As an evangelist of the mobile entertainment world, Gianluca often features as speaker and lecturer in several mobile industry events worldwide, including the prestigious discussion panel of MEM 2009 and the latest Roundtable with the Italian Government. In 2009 he has been awarded as one of the top 50 Manager in the industry by Mobile Entertainment magazine.

Before founding Fusion, Gianluca covered different important roles: Italian Country Manager and International Strategic Marketing Officer for Freever, the French ASP leader in Mobile Community Services; Manager of the ICE division (Information, Communication and Entertainment) in KPMG in Rome; he also worked in various corporate department in Telecom Italia and TIM.

In 1993 he obtained a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering at La Sapienza University in Rome and in the same year he started his professional career as a Researcher at the Fondazione Bordoni.

Gianluca was born in 1969 in Milan, he’s married with two children. He is fluent in English and French and conversant in Spanish and Portuguese.
