MASSIMILIANO SILENZI

Mobile Payment Executive Director

Massimiliano Silenzi, 33, joined Neomobile in 2007 and as M-Payment Exec Director he is in charge of M-Commerce Operations at a global level. 

He started in Neomobile as Strategy and Business Planning Manager and in this role also managed Corporate Communication activities during 2008 and 2009. As of January 2010 Massimiliano became Director for the French and Turkish subsidiaries, a role he still maintains today together with the activities on M-Commerce.

Massimiliano has several international experiences, starting his career in NY City in the international business development team  of The Orchard LLC, World’s leading digital distributor of independent music titles.

From 2005 to 2007 he worked for Enterprise Digital Architects (spin-off of Ericsson), specialized in designing, developing, managing ICT & New Media solutions and services where he started as Digital Television Product Manager and then managed the Marketing Strategies Department of the Company.

Massimiliano has a MSc in Marketing Management and is now a PhD Candidate in ‘Business and Finance Management’ at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’. His field of research is Marketing and Strategy in digital and convergent environments with different publications on digital interactive television, Mobile TV and Mobile search engines.

He loves to travel, to visit new places and integrate into new cultures. He also enjoys reading, especially about astrophysics, space exploration, recent history and politics.
