Regulation of the VAS Market
Neomobile actively stimulates the regulation of the VAS Market and has several regulatory experiences in Italy, Spain, Turkey, Brazil, Mexico and other markets currently addressed by the Neomobile Group.
In Italy, Neomobile has been one of the promoters of the CASP (Codice di Autoregolamentazione Servizi Premium), the Italian Code of Conduct that has been signed by all Mobile Operators and Content Service Providers and has been integrated in their agreements. (Download here)
Neomobile is also member and co-founder of ASSOCSP, the Association of Content Services Providers, that brings together and represents the biggest Italian and multinational companies leader in mobile content like Buongiorno, Dada and Zed. In Spain, Neomobile recently became member of AESAM, the Spanish association for Mobile services companies that includes the main companies offering mobile service and mobile contents through different technologies.
With its experience in regularization of the mobile content world, Neomobile tries to support MEF in its goal to achieve self regulation or co-regulated approaches of the local regulators and content providers in growing markets like Brazil, Mexico and India, and our top management has participated at MEM discussion panels that talk about the regulation topic.
Neomobile also foresees on its website applications like Parental Control Tool, a free service provided to help inhibit the activation of services, destined to parents that desire to monitor their children’s activities.
