Neomobile tries to apply these politics since the very beginning, even with trainees that initiate in Junior positions. As a matter of fact, Neomobile received the special recognition ‘Bollino Ok Stage’.
The ‘Bollino OK Stage’ is an initiative promoted by the ‘Republic for interns’ (Repubblica degli Stagisti) in order to immediately recognize those companies who engage themselves to offer internships following a series of criteria summarized in the organization’s ‘Bill of Rights’.
To obtain this accreditation, the company declares that:
- its interns (both graduates or not) are paid at least € 500 net per month
- more than 30% of interns accepted each year are employed with contract
- the number of internships each year doesn’t exceed 10% of the total company
- the internship does not exceed, except in special cases, 6 months
- the internship is effectively an educational experience for the interns
- trainees do not replace employees (vacation, illness or maternity)
The project also reflects the increasing attention from companies to the concept of ‘corporate social responsibility’. The socially responsible companies are the ones who decide to go beyond the minimum legal requirements and obligations derived from collective agreements to meet the needs of society, just like Neomobile does.
